Absinthe 2.0 Untethered Jailbreak Releasing Tomorrow

As most of you know that some members of iPhone Dream Team (Pod2g, MuscleNerd, Planetbeing, p0sixninja, and Nikias) were supposed to be presenting iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak on Amsterdam where Hack in the Box Security Conference (HIB) is taking place.

Absinthe 5.1.1 Untethered Release Date

The news coming from HIB conference, confirming that we are few hours away from releasing Absinthe 2.0 Jailbreak. The admin of the event’s official Twitter account HITBSecConf has confirmed that Pod2g and Chronic Dev team will be releasing Absinthe 2.0 untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 tomorrow, May 25th.

Dream Team members will give a live demonstration of Absinthe 2.0 untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 then they will release Absinthe 2.0 for public.

Don’t forget to prepare your device for Absinthe 2.0 jailbreak.

    My iphone4 is now on ios 5.0.1 jb.
    I do not want to restore my iphone.
    Can I use the ios software update to upgrade from 501 to 511 and then jb again ? so that I do not need to reinstall all the apps and restore the backup again.

    is this possible?
