Apple released iPhone 2G back in 2007 with many amazing features. It was a revolutionary product which changed the minds of many developers and manufactures. One of the most amazing features introduced at that time was the YouTube app in iPhone 2G, which was not available as the native app on any other smartphone. The simplest user interface for the world’s largest video sharing website pleased to all of users since then.
YouTube was an integral part of the iPhone until today, because Apple has removed the YouTube App from iOS 6 beta 4 which was released earlier today. You must be surprised because firstly Apple removed the Google Maps from iOS 6 and now they have done the same thing with YouTube App. The reason for this removal was unclear until The Verge posted that Apple has admitted the removal of YouTube app from the iOS 6 beta 4 and has given the following reason.
Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.
So, do you think that it is a bold step from Apple in fight of Apple VS Samsung to take down the Google. But I believe that some developer will surely able to bring back the YouTube App into iOS 6. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below.
