Empty Cydia Sources after iOS 5.1.1 Jailbreak, Here’s how to fix it

Apple released iOS 5.1.1 a way back to fix many bugs and add new camera button. Soon, after the release of this iOS, Chronic Dev team along with Pod2g released Absinthe Jailbreak tool to Jailbreak all of the iDevices. We have already posted the step by step guides to Jailbreak your iDevice. However, if you have recently Jailbroken your iDevice and are having an issue of empty sources in Cydia. This small tip will surely help you to resolve this problem.

This error is basically due to huge traffic to Cydia servers, or any glitches with the Jailbreak state of your iPhone. Simply restart your iPhone by holding power button and following “Slide to Power Off”.

After restarting, open the Cydia and refresh the sources. You will surely find all the packages there. You may need to do the refresh again and again.
