Few days ago, Apple has demoed one of the amazing features on iOS 6. We are talking about Apple new 3D Maps feature. But this news was frustrating for iPhone 4 users as the feature will only support iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the New iPad, and it won’t be compatible with iPhone 4 devices.
But we still have hope. According to CNet, that iOS developer in Russia has discovered a trick to get 3D Maps running on iPhone 4 devices. Here’s how he did it:
Dubbed 3DEnabler, the application requires users to jump through several hoops just to make it happen, including jailbreaking iOS 6 and installing third-party software. In other words, it won’t be easy.
Aside from 3D, Apple has said that its Maps’ turn-by-turn navigation also won’t be available on the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS. So far, according to Russian site iGuides, which was first to report on the hack, Titkov hasn’t found a way to bring that functionality to the device.
