How to Send Group Text Messages from iPhone [Tip]

Do you have good or bad news, any important information about an event and want to tell some of your selected friends or family? Group messaging is the best option to do this task. Although you can also send group emails but to do that you will have to use your computer and texting is also an instant way as compared to the Emails. Now, the amazing part about iOS 5 or higher is that you can send group messages very easily. If you are living in US and are using the AT&T than you are a lucky person, because sending a group message will count be as single text message.

How to send group text message:

  1. From Homescreen, Open the “Messages” app
  2. Click on the “New Text Message icon” in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on the “To” and add a recipient, after doing so, click on “+” button and add another contacts from your Address Book.
  4. In this way, you can add as many recipients as you want, after doing so, enter your text message and hit the “send” button next to it.

    Thanks for the tip, I found this searching in google, but what I want to do is set up an iCloud Group and be able to select it and send a text message to that group without having to select each contact individually. is it possible?
